The Orthodontic Typodont for Cemented and Biomedical Training is a specialized tool for orthodontic education and practice, designed to provide a realistic and didactic experience in both academic and clinical settings. Thanks to its natural wax composition and functional design, it allows precise simulation of dental movements and understanding of orthodontic correction processes visually and practically.

This model has 28 teeth and is made from a combination of pure natural beeswax, birch insect wax, and simulated resin for in vitro teeth in a 1:1 proportion. This unique composition provides a texture and behavior similar to real tissues, allowing observation and reproduction of dental displacement during orthodontic treatments.

Functions of the Typodont for Orthodontic Practice

Function 1: Used for practicing bracket and arch installation, which can be repeated (note to clean the adhesive when used two or more times).
Function 2: Used to demonstrate the transformation of orthodontic malocclusion to standard occlusion, objectively presenting the entire correction process. Primarily used for training and teaching, as well as for demonstration in dentist-patient communication.

Instructions for Use of the Typodont for Orthodontic Practice

• Evenly heat the wax typodont for orthodontic practice with a hair dryer at an ambient temperature of 15 to 25 degrees, and slowly rotate the entire model during heating so that the wax typodont heats evenly.
• After evenly heating the wax typodont, teeth can be observed moving slowly. To increase the correction effect, increase the number of stretching elastic bands.
• Remove the arch after correction, heat the model according to the procedure during correction, and manually restore the teeth to the malocclusion state for the next correction.
• The typodont is made with specific refined wax from the factory.
