Directions for Use

For optimal results, follow these steps:

1. After each mechanical reaming with the appropriate endodontic instrument, irrigate the canal with NICLOR 5 using a syringe fitted with a blunt-tipped needle (bend as needed).
2. Insert the needle at the canal orifice only — never deep toward the apex. Gently oscillate it back and forth to facilitate flow and outflow, applying light pressure on the plunger.
3. In necrotic canals: use only NICLOR 5 before and during reaming.
4. In canals with vital pulp: preferably use Hydrogen Peroxide first, then NICLOR 5 at the end.
5. Follow each NICLOR 5 irrigation with an irrigation using Hydrogen Peroxide 12 or 24 volumes (same method). The resulting effervescence helps clean the canal.
6. Alternate between NICLOR 5 and Hydrogen Peroxide after each passage of endodontic instruments.
7. For removal of inorganic debris formed during instrumentation, alternate NICLOR 5 with an EDTA-based solution (e.g., Tubuliclean, EDTA 17%).
8. Finally, irrigate with 0.9% sterile saline solution to remove all residues, then dry thoroughly with sterile absorbent paper points.
9. The canal is now ready for definitive treatment with root canal preparations and sealing cement.
