This 13000L Legionella filter is the perfect solution for protection against Legionella pneumophilia (legionellosis) and other waterborne pathogens that can cause nosocomial infections. Designed with a double layer of hollow fiber Polysulfone, it filters any bacteria larger than 0.075 µm, producing sterile-grade water and complying with ISO 9001:2008.

Where is the Legionella filter installed?

It can be installed on any dental unit; it is universal, but we always recommend placing it at the water inlet of the chair.

When should the Legionella filter be replaced?

It lasts approximately two years or a filtration capacity of 13000L, although this duration is approximate as it always depends on the amount of water and usage in dental clinics.

Is a technician required for installation?

No specialist technician is required for proper installation.

Is it disposable?

Yes, completely disposable. Like amalgam filters, these filters must be replaced with new ones after the established time and/or specified filtration capacity in liters.

What are the differences between the 6000L and 13000L Legionella filters?

Apart from the difference in liters, there is another major difference. The 6000L Legionella filter allows nanofiltration (a technique applied for water purification, removal of organic substances, etc.) by incorporating a carbon filter between 5-10 µm.
