Oxicor is a specialized abrasive blasting material designed for pressure blasting applications on metal surfaces. Composed of 72% silica and 28% glass, it is chemically inert, ensuring no contamination of the blasting medium. This makes it ideal for cleaning delicate and sensitive surfaces without altering their size, shape, or sharp edges. The beads produce a smooth, uniform finish while effectively removing contaminants and improving the final appearance of treated parts. Available in a 25 kg package with a 50 µm grain size, Oxicor complies with European Association standards for workplace accident prevention. Physical properties include a white, odorless bead form, bulk density of 2.45–2.55, melting point of 548 °C, hardness of 6 Mohs (48 Rc), and non-explosive classification. It is suitable for use in dental labs and other precision environments where gentle yet thorough cleaning is required. For other sizes, Oxicor is also offered in 2 kg and 8 kg packages at 50 µm, as well as 8 kg and 25 kg options in 100 µm, 150 µm, and 250 µm grain sizes.
